 Zack is Back!

Zack has returned from his summer in Maine. Welcome him back at Mean Deans this Thursday!

Zack Pomerleau, a Maine-born multi-instrumentalist blues musician based in Bradenton, is the drummer and harmonica player for the award-winning Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones. Since 2023, he has toured internationally, earned a Blues Blast Band of the Year nomination (2019), and appeared on their latest album, Groovin' at Groove Now.

Beyond the band, Zack performs solo, blending electric guitar, harmonica, vocals, and foot percussion to deliver classic blues and original tunes. 

At Mean Deans, it's also Thirsty Thursday. Enjoy Happy Hour specials all day! Come before 6pm to enjoy our $15.9 Fall Sunset Menu.

Reservations are recommended. Please use our online system to book. Make sure you have the correct date and number of people in your party. In the "Specials Requests" section please write "Music" and we'll seat you in that room.

Team Trivia Tuesdays!

Get your crew together for fun, laughs, and friendly competition every Tuesday at 6:30 pm.

✅ Come early for Happy Hour. Great drinks from 3–6 pm. Trivia runs 6:30–8:30. You may book as early as 5:15.

✅ Full service during trivia. Enjoy our full menu and bar while you play.
✅ Win prizes and (most importantly) bragging rights.

✅ Parties of 8 or more, may be split into two teams to keep the game fair and exciting.

 🎤 Karaoke Nights!

Every Wednesday | 6–9 pm | Karaoke Room

Join us for Karaoke at Mean Deans! Hosted by Ellie, it’s the perfect midweek night out with scratch-made food, cocktails, and full table service.

Participation is free, volume stays comfortable, and the mood is welcoming and upbeat. Perfect for date nights, after-work groups, retirees, and friends or family who want an early night out.

Come hungry, come thirsty, and come ready to sing!

🎟️ Reservations for Karaoke – click the link below. This will book for the Karaoke Room, not regular dining. Please note: Reservations are only available for the start of Karaoke (5:45-6:15). After that it's first come, first served. So far we have been able to accommodate all walk-ins, but as we get into busy season, that will most likely change.

Celebrate the holiday with scratch-made comfort and a few chef-inspired twists. This year’s menu features Maple-Glazed Turkey, Chilean Sea Bass, Braised Lamb Shank with Rosemary Port Wine Fig Reduction, and Filet Mignon topped with our signature Crabbearnaise, plus more seasonal favorites prepared from scratch.

Last Thanksgiving, Dean personally cooked over 1,000 pounds of turkey, and this year promises to be just as memorable!

Gather your friends and family for a relaxed, flavorful meal filled with genuine hospitality and all the warmth of the season, and most importantly, let us do the dishes!

Don't want to spend the holiday alone? Come sit at our communal table with friends you haven't met yet! We've been doing this for a few years now and many of the folks still keep in touch. This year it will be at 3:30p on Thanksgiving. Just give us a call and we'll add your name and phone number to the reservation. If for some reason you can't make it, please let us know asap in order to make room for someone else as the table sometimes fills up.
